Our expo ‘Crafting Community’ at NAR is open! Here you can see my piece ‘Sprouting’ as well as the work of 12 other talented queer textile artists. With the @queer_craftcircle we have created this expo about the importance of queer, safe(r) spaces, self expression and community. In a time when queer and trans people face increasing violence and repression, spaces like our craft circle become havens for people like us to come together and experience what community can do <3 Thanks to everyone who made this expo possible!! You can visit the exhibit until the 20th of July at @nar.utrecht

dorm room challenge winners !!!! wowieee this was hard to do!! so many great artists who participated and there were a bunch of great playlists too!! after much deliberation here are my winners. insert your character drawing challenge! 1st winner is @_sirzzei zei’s aura is unmatched. from face to fit, zei’s character is serving. look at that diva!!! it’s her world and we’re all just living in it. zei’s artistry is zany. she’s whimsy at work. her dedication to combining digital and traditional media captivates me. 2nd n final winner of this category is @indiscassette indi pulled out all the stops. indi took my empty artwork and made it look and feel whole. the bare room now fully furnished including a lively roomie!! her characters are always so expressive and you can really feel the competitive spirit from this one 😀 music curator challenge category! winner is @marcoi.coi with his playlist “dormitory dance floor”. truly music to dominate the dance floor! i will contact u via dms shortly for the prize !! please keep an eye out :) HONORABLE MENTIONS!! @2_ombie @orion.courts @sayhigracie @llrandom_usernamell @spina.nikki THANK U SO SO SO MUCH FOR PARTICIPATING!
