Most of my immersive work has only existed inside physical spaces - exhibitions and installations you had to be there to experience.

I’ve been thinking about how to make these works accessible beyond the places and moments they were originally created for.

So I’ve now recreated 11 of my immersive exhibitions and installations as interactive web experiences.

Proud to share VISIONS [Immersive] is going to be exhibited at Art Club Museum @artclubhtx TBA

Visions draws on classical masterpieces by artists like holbein, bosch, bruegel, and velázquez, each known for concealing social critiques within their work. in doing so, it illustrates how throughout history the only truth images carry is their power to deceive.

Biennale Exhibition alert 🚨

I’ve opened my immersive exhibition at the Gwangju Biennale in Gwangju, South Korea, one of Asia’s largest and most significant contemporary art biennales.

The experience brings together three of my series: The Idea of Saving Aesthetics, Revival of Aesthetics, and Relic, alongside other studies exploring carpets, rugs, and their visual and cultural language.

The installation is also currently on view at ArtClub Museum Houston.

Eastern Promises: Field 🏛️
Art Dubai 2023

Ten monoliths in a night desert, each carrying one chapter of the series: architecture, bazaar, palace life, portraits, landscapes, religion, still life, geography, military scenes, harem life. More than 8,000 Orientalist paintings from public-domain archives, painted by Europeans who imagined an East most of them never visited, trained into custom models. What returns is not a copy. It is a question about who gets to picture whom.

Echoes of Alhambra: Coded Sanctity 🏛️
Dubai Calligraphy Biennale, 2023

The geometry, patterns and calligraphy that cover the walls of the Alhambra, learned by a system that keeps generating the ornament the way the original craftsmen kept repeating and varying a single idea. First shown at Encounters, Scorpios, with HOFA House of Fine Art, then at the Dubai Calligraphy Biennale with AWC Gallery. Shown here as a monolith study for large-scale display.
