Orocue ~

Daniel has dedicated his recent years to building and sustaining underground spaces. He spent a decade in Buenos Aires, where he collaborated with local collectives to create spaces intersecting art and club culture. Beyond the dance floor, his work in the city culminated in his debut EP on the Argentinian label Concepto Hipnotico. Since relocating to NY, Daniel has shared his sound at events for Sole Rehab, FLUID, and Buffalo Underground. His work has also been featured on Sandoz Community Radio (Japan), SENSE (Brooklyn), and Mild Fantasy (Brooklyn) via Veneno (Brazil).

We invite you to join us early as our resident Orocue opens the room, setting the atmosphere for the night ahead.

Daniel Prada (aka Orocué) is a Colombian artist based in Buffalo, NY. Building sounds through extensive experimentation with synths and field recording sampling, Orocué explores and translates his interpretation of sound into form. Both building original tracks and curating records for the dancefloor, he navigates between high energy and introspection and is always rooted in a solid groove; essentially what’s influenced the selection for this hour-long vinyl mix.
