Five years ago, I asked myself a simple question…

What if we stopped chasing beauty trends and started understanding the melanated skin?

That question became Master Your Beauty (MYB).

I had watched too many people lose confidence because of misinformation, harmful skincare practices, and the belief that beauty meant changing who they were.

MYB was created to change that narrative.

Today, it’s more than a conference. It’s a community of people who believe that education should come before trends, science should guide our decisions, and confidence begins with understanding.

This November, we gather again for our 5th edition.

Theme: Beyond Trend: Understanding the Melanated Skin.

My name is Orusoso Maxwell, Founder of Pure Glamour Clinics, and today I’m proud to introduce the very first project of the Orusoso Rita Maxwell Foundation a vision born from purpose, growth, and the desire to give back meaningfully.

We are opening a FREE One-Week Summer Program on Aesthetics & Skin Health for young girls in secondary schools across Rivers State.

This initiative is designed to:
• Equip young girls with foundational knowledge in skincare and aesthetics
• Promote safe and healthy skin practices
• Build confidence and spark interest in self-care and skin health

5 YEARS OF PG CLINICS 🤎🧡

Last Saturday, we celebrated a journey that means so much more to us than a number.

Five years of learning, growing, evolving and, most importantly, building a community rooted in trust, care and genuine connection.

We celebrated with some of the amazing clients who have been part of this journey, shared beautiful moments, and introduced some exciting new treatments we’re bringing to our community.

Because for us, PG Clinics has never been just about treatments.

It’s about creating an experience where you feel seen, heard, cared for and confident that your skin is in safe hands.

From our very first days to PG Clinics — The Experience Center, the journey has been filled with lessons, challenges, beautiful wins and so many people who believed in us along the way.

What an incredible experience at Beauty Summit 2.0! ✨

I’m truly grateful to the entire team @beyondbeautyng2.0 for inviting me to be part of such an amazing gathering of aestheticians, medical practitioners, beauty therapists, cosmetologists and other professionals within the beauty and aesthetics industry here in Port Harcourt.

Creating spaces where professionals can learn, connect, share knowledge and grow together is so important for the development of our industry, and I’m grateful to have been part of it. 🤎
