Recaptured is coming to the end of its festival circuit so I thought I should finally post about it!! I’m proud to say we had a few nominations and an award 💫 so congrats and enormous thank yous to everyone who helped us bring this to life 🙏🏻 it will be releasing online soon!!

This was my first proper short film and a real labour of love over the last few years as many of u guys will know 🫡🫡

The film takes on the topics of climate change, social responsibility and wealth inequality through a story about the future of carbon recapture 🌿

We shot it 3 years ago now 🥵 but the issues within it are still so relevant, and it represents the direction I’m gonna be moving in with my work in the future. So if you wanna tell some stories about people & the environment drop me a line ❤️

Over the last 2 months I’ve had the pleasure of working with @unitednations and @purpose, directing a series of films for their The Future Thanks You campaign in the run up to the UN General Assembly.

These 7 films, shot mostly by remote crews in every continent around the 🌍, represent the hopes and visions of 7 individuals and their communities for a thriving, green future. By telling their stories, we want to show people what’s possible through a green transition, and inspire people to find hope for the future 🌿💚 by @oscarmcnab

This old chestnut is finally having its moment 🤘🏻 this is The Impossible, a sustainability film I wrote and directed for EY Global a while back with heroic producer @robgoddammit, I can’t post the vid here but check it out on my website or their YouTube.

Super excited to have it added to the Shiny List and pick up the Silver Sustainability Award at the US Internationals ‼️🌿 @shinyawards @usinternationalawards by @oscarmcnab

Directed and animated this mind-bending AI-assisted piece for @leoleoleomaa’s psychedelic single ‘Take Me To Space’. We shot the whole dance performance with super-talented @aoi.nakamura8 before feeding each shot of the edit into a custom AI workflow. Whatever you think about AI in the creative industries, it’s definitely letting us be creative in ways that weren’t possible or accessible before. Got hit it up if you’re curious 😵‍💫😵‍💫 link in bio x

Thanks for the premiere @noctismagazine !!
