A serious crash.
A teammate forced to withdraw.
Mechanical issues. Moments where giving up would have been the easier option.

For @turbo__trav , one of the toughest stages wasn't about racing. It was about making a choice to keep going.
First alongside Rentia, then with Mhlengi, the goal became simple: one pedal stroke at a time.

As an amputee, he has learned that things don't always go to plan. But if you keep showing up, keep pushing forward, and keep putting one foot in front of the other, you'll get to the finish line.
Sometimes the biggest victory is just refusing to stop!

One thing I’ve learnt through limb loss: surround yourself with people who help you laugh through it all🤍

Life’s a lot lighter when you have someone who can laugh with you and apparently make sure both feet get equal treatment. 😂

@mhle_gwala has one of the most inspiring stories that we have ever come across in our years of hosting incredible riders from around the world.

His tenacity and dedication to his vision of what he is capable of as a human and an amputee are infectious and have moved us and our extended team @ironmansouthafrica to get behind him in a meaningful way as he pursues his dream of representing South Africa at the 2028 LA Olympics 🇿🇦

When it came to my suspension I quickly realised that theres no one-size-fits all and what would work for me might not work for the next person.
My suspension gives me the confidence to take on the day comfortably with minimum to know movement within my socket which makes it feel more one with and natural
