“🌺 ‘The Great Hibiscus’ was where they met; all singletons - old and young, in Victorian Scotland. This place was said to bring wealth and health to the newly bound couples on its crisp leaves; hence demand was high. I have once seen a man curled up on the highest leaf, sleeping, while two quarters of him covered in snow. He seemed to have owned that leaf.”
