Alumni Spotlight: Michele “Andrianna" Cary, CScD, MPH, MTS, OTR/L (CScD ’23)

Michele “Andrianna" Cary is making an impact through occupational therapy across Europe!

Andrianna works as an occupational therapist supporting the Defense Health Agency and United States Air Force in the United Kingdom and Germany. She provides trauma informed OT services to students in overseas settings while also supporting Airbases throughout Europe.

One of Andrianna's favorite parts of her role is the opportunity to travel and experience how related services and IEPs are implemented around the world.

Reflecting on her time at Pitt OT, Andrianna shares that Pitt’s emphasis on “practicing at the top of your license” shaped how she approaches challenges by looking for the root cause of problems within systems and identifying meaningful opportunities for change.

Andrianna was also recognized with a letter of appreciation from military leadership for providing support outside of her permanent station!

We are so proud to see Andrianna representing Pitt OT and making an impact abroad! by @otpitt
