Identity for @weareblackskull 🦴 — Black Skull is an award-winning, global production company, creating live experiences from first idea to final performance. Founded in 2015 with offices in London and Los Angeles, Black Skull has built a portfolio ranging across music, fashion, theatre and entertainment, collaborating with the likes of Zara Larsson & JADE, alongside iconic moments at the Eurovision Song Contest and a decade of live performances at The BRIT Awards. We were brought in to bring the company together for its next chapter. Bringing together Creative, Production, Studio & Talent teams under one identity, and creating a clearer expression of who Black Skull is today – while finding a way to bring more than a decade of live work into one portfolio. The result is an evolution of the language Black Skull has already cultivated, keeping its attitude while giving the brand more room to move. A new typographic system and colour treatment build on the change, reflecting the energy, precision and detail that runs through the work. At the centre of it all are the “bones” – a simple visual tool built around the people behind the projects.
