📢 It’s here! The first-ever Chattanooga Area Mountain Bike Guide is officially out!

This full-color pocket guide covers 12 trail systems across the greater Chattanooga region, with 190+ miles of trail, all within 30 minutes of downtown.

This project would not have been possible without the Lyndhurst Foundation, whose funding made this valuable resource a reality. Thank you for investing in our trails and the people who ride them. 💚

We’re also incredibly grateful to our partners at @outdoorchatt, the GIS Center at @utchattanooga (maps), and @madebytinygiant (design) for bringing this vision to life. Special thanks to the amazing photographers @thewideeyedworld and @makebeautiful_co for showcasing our trails and city!

We also want to thank our local bike shops, @handupco, and the local businesses who consistently invest in our trails and keep our organization rolling, along with the land managers who provided content and keep these trails open to ride. Thank you as well to @tnvacation and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development for supporting this guide and mountain biking across the state through @biketennessee.

Mountain biking brings an estimated $10 million a year to our local economy, yet many locals and visitors don’t know where to find info on our extensive trail systems. Clear, trusted info is the first step to getting more people out riding, and we hope this guide fills that gap.

LEARN TO PAINT LIKE THIS! Tonight 5-7pm. FREE!!
Join Outdoor Chattanooga’s Adventure Staff Artists for a fun and creative Silver Adventures experience at Coolidge Park! Take inspiration from the beautiful Tennessee River and iconic Walnut Street Bridge as we explore the art of plein air—or open-air—painting.

Participants will learn basic watercolor and plein air techniques before creating their own painting inspired by the outdoors. No previous painting experience is needed—just come ready to learn, create, and enjoy the scenery! All materials are supplied.

The program will meet at the Outdoor Chattanooga building for check-in before heading into the park to paint.

Walk-ups are welcome. Bring your own watercolor supplies if you have them (otherwise we will supply!!), and come ready to paint, explore, and enjoy the outdoors.
