Have you been watching local drag shows thinking to yourself “gee I sure wish I could do that!”? Or maybe you’re an experienced performer looking to learn some new tricks? —Now’s your chance!! Join us Saturday August 30th for the FIRST Paint by Numbers! A FREE drag werkshop taught by a rotating faculty of experienced local drag performers!

Our first Paint by Numbers will be lead by Gainesville’s own Daddy Dearest @phylaxxis_ ! Performing since 2018, Phylaxxis brings a creative and experimental approach to drag, pulling inspiration from horror, practical sfx, and haute couture fashion. Come learn the basics of drag king makeup techniques, discuss the fundamentals of character building and visual story telling, and learn some of the art of the masculine drag transformation! Put it all together and you’ll put together a head to toe look to show off at the end of the night!

Registration link in bio!! We’re capping this at 10 students with priority given to fresh faces- but don’t worry if you miss out! Paint by Numbers will be back again, and we’re listening to YOU for what we should bring next time!!

Additional details can be found in the registration form! taken in University Club by @outsidetheboxgnv
