The Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) invites Veterans, their families, and the community to its annual Trunk or Treat event. The family-friendly celebration will take place Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Orlando VA Medical Center, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827.

Costumes are encouraged as OVAHCS brings Veterans, families, VA staff, community partners, and neighbors together for an afternoon of fun and connection.

There is no registration required to attend the Trunk or Treat event. Veterans, families, and community members who simply want to attend and enjoy the festivities are welcome to come out between 1 and 3 p.m.

Organizations, community partners, and individuals interested in hosting a decorated trunk or table during the event must register in advance using the participant registration link below:

Walking Together for Breast Cancer Awareness!

The Tavares VA Clinic proudly brought Veterans, staff, and community members together in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Participants had the opportunity to connect with valuable breast cancer awareness resources, learn about the importance of early detection and screenings, and take part in a walk to show support for survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and raise awareness.

The 2026 Orlando Veterans Creative Arts Show, held Aug. 21 at the Orlando VA Medical Center, was an incredible celebration of the creativity, talent and stories of our Veterans. With more than 250 entries across visual arts, performing arts and creative writing, this year’s event was the largest Creative Arts Show in Orlando VA history and one of our most popular yet. More than 400 ballots were cast in support of our talented Veteran artists.

We are incredibly grateful to all our participating Veterans for making the 2026 Creative Arts Show such a memorable success. Congratulations to all of our artists on an amazing job, and thank you for sharing your creativity with the Orlando VA and our community!
