POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last year we made the decision to downsize our home.
.
We’ve chosen to do this, to release the pressure of bigger being better, to give us the financial freedom to live in the moment not waiting for tomorrow, because what’s the point in waiting?

I am 100% unashamedly obsessed with the new kitchen.

I can’t thank @angelinteriorssw enough for turning my vision into reality.
.
The new shelf provides endless faffing opportunities don’t you think!!!

M O R N I N G
.
Thought I would pop on and say hi 👋 this morning.
.
I do hope your Saturdays have started better than mine - imagine my delight when I opened the kitchen door to be greeted by an awful lot of dog 🤮 apologies if you are tucking into your toast!
.
Starting Mother’s Day proceedings today and am feeling so grateful to be taking Mum out for brunch with my sister later 💕
.
Happy Saturday x

Happy Friday folks.
.
Not had too much to post about lately, but I’ve been getting chatGPT to renovate the bungalow for us!
.
The kitchen is going to be painted for now & as much as I’ve grown fond of the wallpaper - it’s got to go!
.
Give me your best kitchen cupboard paint recommendations….

A whole week in our new home.
.
It’s been exhausting, we’ve almost unpacked every box and built a million pieces of IKEA furniture.
.
There’s been highs and lows but it’s starting to feel like home 🏡
.
My out of office is now on and for the next two weeks I intend to consume my body weight in Brie, baguettes and cheap French wine! This holiday is the most needed one ever 🇫🇷
.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend❤️

Hello & welcome to the bungalow diaries!
.
I don’t even know where to start!
.
But I guess the beginning is always good!We haven’t stopped since the second we turned the key & opened the door of the bungalow.
.
Was it the dream entrance I’d been imagining? Not quite, it quickly became obvious that the place had not been cleaned since our offer was accepted in Feb, I can only describe the scenes as a bug hotel!!
.
For the next 12 hours I flip flopped between overwhelmed, overstimulated, overjoyed & over tired and questioning our life choices. I spent most of Friday crying - it wasn’t meant to feel like this!.
.
Fast forward to this morning, there are still boxes lurking, none of us have beds, the dog 💩 on the kitchen floor- but this place already feels like home 🏡.
.
If you made it this far, thanks for sticking with my ramblings, there’s plenty more where that came from.
.
Wishing you a beautiful Monday.

I’m drinking my coffee surrounded by boxes & bubble wrap, experiencing a million emotions a minute. 🫠
.
Tomorrow, we downsize to the bungalow. We are doing this for the best reasons possible—to trade the weight of hefty bills for a better standard of living, more adventures, and memories instead of just keeping up with the house.
But my god, the logistics of fitting a 4-bedroom life into a bungalow has been a lesson in humility. (Turns out, I did not need three drawer-fulls of “miscellaneous cables”).
.
I am incredibly excited. I am slightly nervous. I am definitely exhausted. Today is heavy, but tomorrow is a fresh start, a new chapter.
.
Bungalow life, we are so ready for you. (Just please don’t make me pack another box ever again). 🏡❤️

A glimpse of life lately.
.
Zero home content, because yes you guessed it, still surrounded by boxes, waiting to move but, life carries on and it’s been a busy few weeks, filled with some lovely moments.
.
Happy Friday

Hey!
.
Happy Friday all, how are we all doing? It’s been a while!
.
I didn’t consciously take a break, but it’s fair to say the interior of my home is somewhat chaotic right now with part of our lives in boxes while we are still in moving limbo! Yes 8 months since putting our home on the market and we’re still here, we’ve had 2 chains collapse and are now in a 3rd so please, please let this be 3rd time lucky, because I am not unpacking any boxes unless it’s in our new home!!.
.
Anyway, I hope you’re all well and looking forward to the weekend. I’ve heard summer is coming back!
