The bite was hot for a good bit this morning. The last 3 hours of incoming. Nobody had fleas or fids so live shrimp from @staugpaddlesports and @fishbites got the job done. Used my @overthebar_rods The 10, 12 & 13 footers... amazing rods! Not quite a limit but my daughter and I will be eating pretty good 😁

Huge thank you to Mark Burford, owner of Over the Bar Rods, for getting me set up for surf season! 🎣

I’ve got the 9’, 10’, 12’, and 13’ rod, and I’m extremely excited to put them to work just as the surf temps start cooling down. They’re extremely beautiful rods and feel great to hold. I even got me a rig bag for all my hand-tied rigs, so I can grab what I need without digging through a tangled mess. 🙌

I’m officially set for some surf fishing! Now comes the fun part: figuring out which reels to pair with each rod. What would y’all put on them? 👀

We absolutely had a blast yesterday using the new @overthebar_rods 9’ slaying snook and mangrove .. we caught 2 slots 1 for Brooke and one for Noel and lots of others in between! Epic day on the jetty with the goat @mommabfishing by @overthebar_rods
