It’s a scam….😳

I often think back to the day when Kieron told me about this new business opportunity that he found. I told him straight away that it wouldn’t work & that it was a scam.

I remember him telling me that he invested into a course that was going to teach him how to set up his own online business… & I thought here we go…

My exact words to Kieron: if you spend £77 on being scammed online, then I’ll take £77 out of our money to buy clothes….😂🙏🏼 yeah I know my money mindset was pretty poor back then🫠

I mean I’ve always seen people living these crazy lifestyles where they apparently worked from their phone, but it seem “too good to be true” and in my world back then “not realistic for us”

Anyways, I remember Kieron nodding his head not caring too much what I had to say. He knew exactly where this could take us. Other people were doing it. Other people were living the life that we wanted so why couldn’t we.

& I would lie if I said that I didn’t try to talk him out of it a few times. But his vision was so strong.

Behind my back, he took out a credit card to actually set up his own business. Without me knowing. & not telling me was probably the best thing he could have done, because otherwise I’m sure I would have somehow talked him out of it. (😳)

Fast forward 5 years - here we are with a multiple 6 figure online business. Haven’t worked a corporate job since 2019. Been living all over the world over the last few years. Just bought a villa in Bali in full. Spend everyday pretty much as we please, present with our babies. But more importantly being obsessed with our work, helping 100’s of people to realise what’s possible, launch their own business & go full time online🥹

It’s safe to say that I’m forever grateful for Kieron trusting his gut, believing in this industry & not listening the the noise around him (me😆)

So this is a message to say if you are considering to try something new online & feel a little hesitant or skeptical, we get you! But keep that mind open, & remember that nothing changes if nothing changes & you will only know if you give it a try. Besides, what’s the alternative?

SO WE DID A THING…

WE BOUGHT A VILLA IN BALI!!!!!🙈🏡

Yes.

It’s official guys🥹 We own a home. In Bali. Well technically own the lease of the land and property. BUT ITS OURS!!!

Words. Cannot. Describe. The. Feelings😭

After 12 long months of not really knowing where to settle, moving around SO much we don’t even know how many different beds we’ve stayed in, ALL whilst being present parents for our new little babies & running a global business, we finally, finally have a place we can call home for our little family. THIS IS OURS🥹🥹

And flashback, who remembers this place?

For those of you who have followed us over the years, this exact villa we rented last year for 2 months. And we’ve only gone and bought it!

8 years ago myself & Amanda lived in the back of a car just scraping money together to buy a packet of noodles for dinner. And here we are. Our first home together🥹In our favourite place on Earth. What is life?

Forever grateful for everything. The decisions we’ve made. The hard work we’ve put in. Genuinely proud of us.

Anything is possible if you truly believe it can and put the work in to get there.

Isn’t the butterfly effect wild? One minute we were both working 9–5… the next we’re sitting by the ocean with our babies between us (minus Remi 🤍) @overtheflipside ❤️

Every hard decision, every sacrifice, every time we pushed against the norm has led us here.
We say this a lot, but this lifestyle gives so much more time outside, more presence with our babies, nourishing food, simple moments… like our kids drinking coconuts just for fun.
We’re so grateful for this life.

And take this with a pinch of Celtic sea salt… “normal life” is someone else’s dream life and that’s beautiful. But this is ours.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to do things differently, maybe this is your sign to take the leap whatever that looks like for you 🤍

Before anyone jumps in 😅

I know… job, school, routine, life and all of that.

But you also have a choice.
It’s just a decision.

We just make it feel way bigger than it is
like it’s life or death
like this is the only life we get to live.

It’s not!!

And if you love your life, good for you!! honestly that’s the goal!!

But if you’re always wishing and dreaming but never doing, at some point you have to be real with yourself…

you could.

You’re just not choosing to.

A £6 homestay.

That’s what we were trying to decide if we could afford when we first came to Bali.

Not a villa.
Not a nice hotel.

A £6 room.

I still remember us sitting there, counting the pennies, eating £1 warungs, dreaming about a different kind of life and wondering if it was something that only happened to other people.

Now sometimes we walk around our villa and we have to pause for a moment, to realise we’re living the life we used to sit and talk about late at night.

Except now it’s not something we’re dreaming about.

It’s our home🥹🥲

The place where our kids are growing up, where their little feet run around the same island we once arrived on with nothing but big dreams.

The place where the life we once imagined became our everyday, because we never stopped working toward it

Have you ever stopped to think about what you’ll one day look back on, and what “normal” might be costing you right now?

It’s crazy how being here, both of us, every single day, feels ‘normal’ to us. Because once you live this way, anything else feels wrong.

From the moment our babies were born, we were both there.
Fully present.
Every single day.
For Bodhi. For Naia. And now for Remi too.

And this is the part people don’t talk about enough…😥

It’s not the big milestones you miss when life gets busy. It’s the tiny moments.
The quiet cuddles. The sleepy smiles.
The ordinary days you don’t realise are precious while you’re living them.

Society tells us this is normal.
Parents working full days.
Kids in school or nursery.
A few rushed hours together before bedtime.

And no one really questions it.
Until one day you look back…
and they’ve grown.

And you realise it wasn’t just the big things you missed. It was the small, precious moments.
