The wait is almost over! 👀💙

You asked, and now you know where we’re gathering. 📍✨

QARA — THE GATHERING is coming to 3 Brothers Hotel, Odongunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos! 🥹❤️

A room for purpose. A space for identity. An opportunity to release, create, connect, and become.

On Friday, October 23rd, 2026, we gather to explore the things that call us, the things we’re ready to let go of, and the people we’re becoming.

And trust me, the venue is just one piece of the experience we’re putting together. 👀

If you’ve been meaning to register, this is your sign. Don’t just watch it happen. Be in the room.

WHAT IF YOU GAVE YOURSELF ROOM TO BECOME? 🤎

Beyond the pressure to achieve more, build more, and have life figured out… what if you simply paused and asked yourself, “Who am I actually becoming?”

That’s the heart of QARA — The Gathering.

A room for honest conversations around purpose, identity, healing, release, art and connection.

Come as someone who’s building, becoming, exploring, or still figuring things out. You don’t need to have all the answers. 🤎

We’re bringing people together for meaningful conversations, creative expression, and connections that go beyond the usual.

Techno-Optimism: Shifting Culture in STEM is a book that moves girls from “it’s not for me” to “there’s possibility in this field.” Through the stories of Pan-African women who have been there, it shows young girls that they can enter this field and help shape it.

You can sponsor a child when you buy a copy of Techno-Optimism, and you can sponsor more children to receive a copy too. Pick up a copy for yourself, and put the book in the hands of a girl who needs to read it.

Add it to your shelf, and help a child add it to theirs.

CREATIVES, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU. 👀🤎

QARA is creating a room for conversations around purpose, identity, healing, release, art and connection.

But we don't want art to just be something we talk about.

We want to see it. Hear it. Experience it.

So if you're a poet, musician, spoken-word artist, dancer, visual artist, storyteller, photographer, designer, actor, or you create in a way that's difficult to put into a box — we're giving you a stage.

Come with your art.
Come with your expression.
Come with that thing you've been creating.

You don't have to fit into a particular category. If you create, we'd love to hear from you. 🤎

Techno Optimism is more than a book. It's a movement of hope, courage and possibility. Written as a collection of voices and real stories from African women innovators. It explores how technology, mindset and purpose can transform lives and shape the future.

Right now we're set on giving out 200 copies of this book to commemorate the International day of the girl child and we need your support.

What happens when art becomes a language for becoming?

QARA has always been about creating room for the things we don't always know how to say — through conversation, reflection, music, poetry, and creative expression.

This is why we're excited to have Own a Book Today joining us in creating something for the room. 🤎

Not just something to read.
Something to experience.
Something to feel.
Something that might make you see yourself differently.

BE THE REASON A CHILD FALLS IN LOVE WITH READING

✍️ What if one book could change a child’s perspective, spark their imagination, and inspire them to dream bigger?

That’s the power of giving a child access to a book.

Through the Own A Book Today Book Drive, we are working to put more quality books into the hands of young people and create opportunities for them to read, learn, think, and grow.

You can be part of this change by:

🎯Donating new or gently used books

🎯Partnering with us

🎯Sharing our initiative with others

🎯Supporting our literacy outreaches

Every book donated is a seed planted in a young mind.

Let’s bridge the gap in education, one book at a time.

📢 Because a book can change a life, and a life can change a thousand.
