WHAT IF YOU GAVE YOURSELF ROOM TO BECOME? 🤎

Beyond the pressure to achieve more, build more, and have life figured out… what if you simply paused and asked yourself, “Who am I actually becoming?”

That’s the heart of QARA — The Gathering.

A room for honest conversations around purpose, identity, healing, release, art and connection.

Come as someone who’s building, becoming, exploring, or still figuring things out. You don’t need to have all the answers. 🤎

We’re bringing people together for meaningful conversations, creative expression, and connections that go beyond the usual.

CREATIVES, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU. 👀🤎

QARA is creating a room for conversations around purpose, identity, healing, release, art and connection.

But we don't want art to just be something we talk about.

We want to see it. Hear it. Experience it.

So if you're a poet, musician, spoken-word artist, dancer, visual artist, storyteller, photographer, designer, actor, or you create in a way that's difficult to put into a box — we're giving you a stage.

Come with your art.
Come with your expression.
Come with that thing you've been creating.

You don't have to fit into a particular category. If you create, we'd love to hear from you. 🤎

Become what calls you.

Techno Optimism is more than a book. It's a movement of hope, courage and possibility. Written as a collection of voices and real stories from African women innovators. It explores how technology, mindset and purpose can transform lives and shape the future.

Right now we're set on giving out 200 copies of this book to commemorate the International day of the girl child and we need your support.
Send a DM if you'd like to be a part of this change and help spread the word

What happens when art becomes a language for becoming?

QARA has always been about creating room for the things we don't always know how to say — through conversation, reflection, music, poetry, and creative expression.

This is why we're excited to have Own a Book Today joining us in creating something for the room. 🤎

Not just something to read.
Something to experience.
Something to feel.
Something that might make you see yourself differently.

As I am helped, I help. Behind every successful person are people who have worked tooth and nail. And now, in my own little, unique way, I'm doing the same for the youth. Because the future I imagine, the society I want—is one where deep, not surface, knowledge exists, where young people seek to know. They seek to understand and are fed well with knowledge to make decisions that affect them and their society.

It's simple: give young people the choice and opportunity to choose. You can't say young people don't like to read when there's a scarcity of books; you can't say "Olodo uprising" when we are part of that system. So this is from my heart to yours.

Our "Techno Optimism: Shifting Culture in STEM" project needs physical printing, and we can't do it alone. We need about a thousand copies, and we are hoping you can also donate 200 books to us.
Let's be the change we preach. Together, we can build the future.
