We want our staff to have the time and space to do their jobs well.

At Oxford Creators, we’re a small, nurturing alternative provision in South Oxfordshire, working with young people aged 11–16 who deserve to be understood, supported and given the opportunity to thrive.

And we know that looking after our students starts with looking after the people who work with them.

That’s why we build in:

✨ Dedicated time for admin — not endless paperwork taken home
✨ Termly supervision and space to reflect
✨ Small numbers of students and a close-knit team
✨ Early finish with students at 1pm every Friday
✨ A strengths-based, trauma-informed approach where relationships really matter
✨ The opportunity to genuinely influence how our provision grows

We’re growing and currently looking for:

• Teaching Assistants
• Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioners
• Mentors
• Tutors

We’re not looking for people who simply want another job in education.

We’re looking for people who believe that behaviour tells a story, that potential can be found in every young person, and that no child should be written off.

A huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties for donating £250 towards the cost of partitions for our alternative provision. 💛

At Oxford Creators, we work with young people aged 11–16 who may have been excluded, have special educational needs, or are unable to attend school.

Creating the right environment is a huge part of what we do. These partitions will help us create smaller, calmer and safer spaces within our provision — giving young people somewhere to regulate, learn, talk with a trusted adult or simply have some space when things feel overwhelming.

Sometimes something as simple as changing the environment can make a huge difference to how safe a young person feels.

Thank you for helping us create a space where our young people can feel safe, understood and confident. 💛

I won my first ever boxing fight 🥊 It’s emotionally draining fighting the education system for my son and our students at the alternative provision I founded @oxfordcreators

The system is completely failing children who are misunderstood, those with special educational needs or have poor mental health.

My own mental health suffered when my son was out of school and winning this boxing fight helped me push through all the trauma.

We have now raised enough money to provide our Year 10s & Year 11s with an end of term celebration AND as we’ve surpassed our target, all our students will have new mental health workbooks!

So many people to thank ❤️ To our incredible coaches on this intense 8 week training.

To my angel Paul who sadly passed away when I started training. I miss you so much everyday & hope I’ve done you proud ❤️
