🥊 That’s a wrap on the 48th Annual International PAL Boxing Championship! What an incredible week in Oxnard! From August 24–29, 2026, we welcomed 1,089 registered boxers from 20 states and 14 countries, with 660 bouts, supported by 40 officials and 4 medical doctors. The action reached fans around the world with 124,182 Twitch livestream views! A huge thank you to our athletes, coaches, officials, medical teams, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and fans who helped make this championship unforgettable. 🥊🔥 THROWBACK THURSDAY: CALIFORNIA ‘26! 🌴🌎 Rewinding to late August, when the Hollywood PAL Amateur Boxing Team packed up and headed west for a HUGE first step outside of Florida! ✈️🥊 For the first time, this group of fighters traveled across the country and stepped onto an international stage, sharing the ring with athletes from all over the world. 🌎🔥 This trip was about more than what happened between the ropes. It was about TEAM. EXPERIENCE. MEMORIES. GROWTH. 🖤❤️ The laughs, the adventures, the long days, the nerves, the excitement, and getting to represent Hollywood, Florida together — these are the moments that build a team. 💯 Every round gave our fighters something to take home. Every opponent gave them something to learn. Every challenge gave them another reason to get back in the gym and work harder. This is how fighters are built. Not overnight. Not in one tournament. But through every experience, every lesson, and every day they choose to keep improving. 🥊⚡ California was just the beginning. Celebrating the 48th Annual International PAL Boxing Championships! Proudly hosted by @oxnardpal, this incredible event brought PAL athletes, coaches, mentors, and families together for a celebration of boxing! We were proud to connect with athletes including Armani Garcia Gonzales of Vallejo PAL, Ava Parraz of Bakersfield PAL, and Riley Cherry of Peterborough PAL, BC, who earned the title of 65 Male Novice Champion! 🏆 National PAL’s Dr. Galen Duncan was also joined by John Alexander, MSW of Oxnard and Kendall LeSure, MSW of Detroit, representing the dedicated leaders who continue to invest in and uplift PAL youth.
