That song you started writing but you still haven’t finished it...

Maybe you got busy. Maybe you started doubting whether it was even good enough. Maybe you just kept putting it off.

This is your reminder: go back and finish the song.

There have been so many times in my life when I’ve listened to a song and thought, “This is exactly what I’m feeling.”

Sometimes I couldn’t even articulate what was happening in my own heart, but somebody else put it into words through a song.

And I think about what would have happened if they never finished writing it.

So that song sitting unfinished in your notes or your voice recordings—go back to it.

Make time for it. Pray over it. Work on it. Finish it.

Because you may not know who needs the words God has placed in your heart.

Someone somewhere might be waiting to hear that song.

Finish the song 🙏🏽 by @oye_olasunkanmi

Happy Sunday Fam!

Being right doesn’t always mean you handled it right. 😭😂

Sometimes the Holy Spirit will have you apologizing for your tone, your attitude, or your response… while you’re still technically RIGHT.

Because apparently, being right isn’t the highest goal. Being Christlike is. 🥲 by @oye_olasunkanmi

One of the most beautiful things about knowing God is that nothing is too small, too messy, too embarrassing or too ordinary to bring to Him. 🤍

The anxiety. The anger. The jealousy. The excitement. The confusion. The really good day.

You don’t have to edit yourself before you talk to God.

Just talk to Him. About everything. 🥹🤍 by @oye_olasunkanmi

There have been seasons when God has specifically asked me to stay away from certain things—even things that aren't necessarily sinful.

And I've noticed that when I ignore those instructions, something shifts.

My focus. My sensitivity. My discipline. My capacity.

I've started thinking of it as a grace leak.

Not because God's grace suddenly runs out, but because sometimes there are instructions connected to the season God is taking you through.

And what is perfectly permissible for someone else may not be profitable for you right now.

Sometimes the question isn't, “Is this a sin?”

It's: “What did God ask me to do?” by @oye_olasunkanmi

I love listening to sermons (I think I do that even more than I do music) and learning from what God is speaking through others. And to be honest, this has been a HUGE blessing to me and way God has confirmed somethings He told me in our alone time 🤍

But I’m also learning that sometimes, the invitation is simply to be still—to open my Bible, quiet the other voices, and make room for the Holy Spirit to speak to me personally.

There’s a place for both. 🙏🏽🕊️ by @oye_olasunkanmi

Even in the middle of my moment, the melody must be secured. 😂🎶

Musicians, you understand—the inspiration does not check whether you’re emotionally available first.

Has a song ever come to you at the most random time? 🤭 by @oye_olasunkanmi
