Up in northern Sweden, very remote side of Torneå river. Disconnected cell phone, hours of walking in to wilderness all by myself. Was it worth it? For me it was😊
I must confess that I was a little scared but I felt so alive. The all silence only broken by the sound of the river, the environment and the view that nature offering was stunning!
I only could navigate with the sun, and I was very glad to find my way back to the car before darkness. I would like to do this madness again as soon as possible 😃
Be safe out there ✌🏻

Some minimized foam beetle flies for grayling fishing, tied on size 12.

Surely, I am not much of for grayling fishing because of there is no grayling waters close to me. But now I am in northern Sweden to make it happen.
I had no idea what fly to begin with and where to cast. With some luck on my side, I managed to catch some with the first choice for fly.
Whit no witnesses, all by myself in gorgeous nature I felt like a little boy catching his very first fish😀 and happiness was all mine 😀
Have a great evening everyone ✌🏻

Some craft fur baitfish flies here, these are not only good swimmers, you can fish it even in rough conditions without any tangle.
Happy tying weekend 😊

What a great evening. Sometimes, only one catch makes it.
