Today is one of the matriarchs of our family's 75th birthday.. Although this past year has been a tough one for her. She persevered and pushed through. 4 Generations in one photograph.. My Nana (Grandmother), Father, Brother and myself. These two men, through their own experiences as men and as fathers, have help mold me into the man and father I am now. Probably one of the hardest if not the hardest thing I've accomplished in my 40yrs of life. What an honor to be not only learn from the best @joejitsuflo @paulocostabjj and all my brothers @edgarachavarin @stupidsexybloodborne, family at @kaingajiujitsu.. I couldn't be more blessed to surround myself with such amazing human beings. I thank everyone of you and appreciative of everything you've done for me and family. To @joejitsuflo for not only opening a new home for us but for showing us what real family is all about.

To @paulocostabjj for completely changing my game to a whole new level. To my brothers @edgarachavarin @cristian @stupidaexybloodborne. You guys are my brothers for life. I appreciate everything and love every one of you.

🥉We're incredibly proud parents as we congratulate our only daughter on pursuing her first jiujitsu competition at 16 years old representing @kaingajiujitsu

It's so special because "being a girl" had a huge impact on her performance today, but she learned how important it is to keep training throughout the month regardless of changes in her body.

She didn't get the outcome she was hoping for, but she trained hard, prepared for weeks, and even came back from an injury during the last 4 weeks of this training camp.

Thank you to all of her coaches @joejitsuflo @flowwithmaribjj @cryptograpplerx @_lcg024_ @ver0_lu she's resting now and thinking about what she wants to do next! Thanks fam!
