🥉We're incredibly proud parents as we congratulate our only daughter on pursuing her first jiujitsu competition at 16 years old representing @kaingajiujitsu

It's so special because "being a girl" had a huge impact on her performance today, but she learned how important it is to keep training throughout the month regardless of changes in her body.

She didn't get the outcome she was hoping for, but she trained hard, prepared for weeks, and even came back from an injury during the last 4 weeks of this training camp.

Thank you to all of her coaches @joejitsuflo @flowwithmaribjj @cryptograpplerx @_lcg024_ @ver0_lu she's resting now and thinking about what she wants to do next! Thanks fam!

🥲Baby girl getting after it for her first competition 🥋 in the Gi. She didn't stop training in every other discipline on the journey. From wrestling to Judo she is preparing for a life changing experience! We're proud of her hard work, consistency, and the growth she has shown on this path. 👩🏽‍🫯‍👩🏾💪🏾💯
