The La Perla area of Old San Juan was devastated by Hurricane Maria. Loving to go off the beaten tourist path, my twins and I took our wanderlust and love of exploration here on this day. Many items are just as they were after the hurricane, rusted and beaten motorcycles and cars. Walls and foundations of many homes completely gone. Many that are badly damaged are still occupied.
