A few weeks ago I accomplished one of my many lifelong dreams, which was to become an airline pilot! I’ll forever owe a debt of gratitude for everyone who helped and guided me during this long process.
I do however have to give special recognition to my Grandmother Betty Thomas. She believed in me when many people didn’t and she knew when I was only seven years old that I would one day be where I am today. I used to wish that she could be here now to see what I’ve accomplished, but on my first flight as an airline pilot I realized that she’s everywhere I go and that I am closer to her when doing what I love most(flying) than any other time!💜

One of her life long dreams was to see my name on Delta Air Lines Property. We did her one even better and put her name on Delta Air Lines Property. For my birthday this past April, my immediate family surprised me with this commemorative brick in honor of her at Delta Air Lines World Headquarters. 🔺
