What began nearly five years ago as a show of support for a friend considering starting his own carbon bike company in Toronto has led to my dream project today—I’m genuinely at a loss for words. My @bridgebikeworks Surveyor was worth every damn minute of the wait. Featuring an industry-first integrated carbon fiber bottom bracket and a proprietary carbon fork. This all-road masterpiece overcame numerous hurdles and skeptics during its development, yet the final product is unlike anything I’ve ever seen/ridden before. As someone who places huge emphasis on attention to detail, I ensured no stone was left unturned with the rest of the kit, sourcing the most outstanding parts possible. How does it ride? Truly exhilarating: imagine a super-fast road bike that begs you to veer onto some gnarly gravel and tackle some dirt jumps. It’s stiff yet forgiving, lively yet predictable, and every pedal stroke resonates with a harmony I’ve never experienced before. I’ll let the photos speak for the rest.
