GRWM for @tedxenugu
We had 9 speakers, exclusive of the convener @fechimuze who did the introduction with a brief story of himself.
The Host- @lorenzomenakaya and co- host @ebele_idam
The 1st speaker- Collins Nwosu talked on changing your circle and building sustainability. He left us with this quote ‘if you find what you wanna do, stay on it.’
The 2nd speaker @napsylalala talked on making the impossible dream come to pass. She emphasized on dreams and fortitude-
She left us with this question- what Would you do if you weren’t afraid.
The 3rd speaker- Barr. Ifeoma OBI. Led us down a journey of finding strength in vulnerability. She dropped this amazing phrase- I’m a story that is still being written.
The 4th speaker- @paulonwuanibe talked bout failure as a tool in a success story. He left many mind accessing quotes. My favorite was ‘They can only take away what you have, they can’t take away who you are.
The 5th speaker- Emeka Mba, CEO @afiatvofficial took us down the road of culture and religion.
The 6th speaker- Dr Pearl chimuanya told her story of resilience and strength. Her life belief is ‘we don’t have the power to decide what comes to us but we can decide how we react to it.
The 7th speaker- Nkem Nweke talked bout design led innovation. And how everyone is a designer and designs different.
The 8th speaker- @chinonsoarubayi was the speaker who spoke my language. Her words on marbles - words are ordinary, when you absorb them, you make them powerful.
And our last phenomenal speaker @kanayo.o.kanayo talked bout discipline, commitment, staying power. Everyone mustn’t be popular’ but you can you be the best even from any stand point’.
Tedx was worth every minute spent and the ticket purchased.
