PASE is thrilled to open the studio doors and invite you to discover two unique works: the installation by Pierpaolo Ovarini and the project by Alvise Sinivia and Clément Vercelletto. At the end of the evening, we will have the opportunity to listen to the sound artist Clément Vercelletto’s live performance, “Sarah Terral”.

“CHIESA” is an installation by Pierpaolo Ovarini that boldly creates an artificial sonic threshold for a new form of ritual celebration. By inserting a coin into the dysfunctional offertory, one can alter the state of the ritual space. In this piece, the composer transforms into a pyrotechnic artist, a scenographer of spatial noise, crafting an artificially ambient system constantly in tension, teetering on the brink of ephemeral celebration. This work is part of the “Desire Lines” artistic residency project, a collective action by PASE in collaboration with PROFORMA and Begehungen Festival.

The project “VERSI” by Alvise Sinivia and Clément Vercelletto is the result of a four-day residency at the PASE studio, where the two musicians worked with an electro-acoustic grand piano, bagpipes, and a modular synth. This residency is part of the “Attitudes Become Sound” project, which received a grant from the Fondazione di Venezia.
