Did a quick partial casting of @nickdarm ‘s Cthulhu statuette to make sunken ruins for Echo’s new pet, Ponyo. Made with aquarium safe epoxy resin poured into the mold at a slight angle. We are now selling the Cthulhu statuettes at @mythomenagerie , but let me know if you’d be interested in getting a ruin statue version like this! If so, I might make some with coral and barnacles growing on them...

The concussive shockwave of Major Bludd’s exploding transport ripples across the sky, but a mile away, Lowlight doesn’t blink.

Sprinting through the smoke of the burning ridge, his modified sniper rifle slung tight against his back, G.I. Joe’s premier night-fighter analyst forces himself to breathe. He glances down at his wrist to check his Greg Stevens Design (GSD) 6 Series watch—its rugged, overbuilt case and clean, high-visibility dial tracking the seconds he has left to live. The automatic mechanical movement hums a steady rhythm against his pulse, a stark contrast to the apocalyptic madness tearing the arctic apart.

Behind him, Megatron turns his fusion cannon toward the ridge.

A blinding streak of purple energy tears through the atmosphere. The blast misses Lowlight by fifty yards, but the thermal energy flashes the ancient ice into instant steam. The kinetic force strikes the earth like a localized meteor, shattering the glacial crust. The shelf beneath Lowlight’s boots simply ceases to exist.

Lowlight freefalls into a pitch-black abyss, tumbling alongside tons of pulverized ice and frozen earth.
He hits a sloping, subterranean ice wall, sliding violently down a jagged, natural chute before throwing his hands over his head as the ceiling caves in. He lands hard on stone, the air driven completely from his lungs in a ragged gasp. Silence follows, heavy and absolute, save for the faint, steady ticking of the Greg Stevens 6 Series on his wrist, its tough chassis unbothered by the brutal impact.

Coughing up frost and dust, Lowlight clicks on his tactical headlamp. He is at the bottom of a deep, subterranean cavern, safely insulated from the battle above. But as the beam of his light cuts through the subterranean dark, it doesn’t hit ice.

It reflects off ancient, geometric metal.
Lowlight slowly gets to his boots, his rifle raised.
