Snook-zilla!!!!! Who says you can't get Monster fish in 44 degree weather. Thank you to the 2 hunters that came over and took the photos for me. Thought this big bitch was a big sting ray for half the fight. All she would do is use her fat ass to pull a consistent drag ( not screaming ) , very little head shakes , about half way through the headshakes began I then thought maybe a monster redfish , nope she decided to stick her tail straight out of the water and I about pooped myself when I seen the size of it! Got her in , and got her out quickly. Didn't have a tape on me but marked my rod and when I taped that when I got home it was hovering right around the 42" mark. So give or take a inch. What a blast on my 7'6 6-12 rod. 10lb braid and 30lb leader

3nd photo she got an attitude issue and smacked me in the jaw and about took my combo into the water. ( The hunters were laughing their asses off 🤣 ) but this photo you can really see the size girth of her

4th and 5th photo are that of a 27" ish snook and Snook - Zilla makes it look like a total dink.

Also got sheepshead on a soft plastic , a nice jack and about 20 trout altogether. Trout were all under 16" today.
