As the sun sets over the horizon the atmosphere gets cooler, light starts dimming and hustle bustle of village life turn to silence with each passing moment. Lions of Gir in revenue area gets into action. After resting during the day under cool shade, Lions get active in search of prey and for patrolling their territory. One wonderful moment of Gir revenue area was captured in the camera. A Mother Lioness and five cubs are sitting peacefully nearby a farm as if giving pose to a photographer. Movements of Lions around farmlands protect it against the ravage caused by Blue bull and Wild Boars. Farmers don't worry about looking after their farm in night when lions are around. Forest Department's commendable work combined with the support of farmers and villagers, many such Lionesses are rearing their cubs in the revenue area of Gir Forest.
