Over the weekend I went through a bunch of boxes of school work from over the years and found my original, and redesigned, monogram drawings. The monogram I originally designed in high school was a bit too ornamental and feminine, so I redesigned it to better reflect my personality; clean, simple, organized, edgy, and sharp.
My monogram has become my brand identity logo which I’m now using to introduce my new IG account which is designated to design work I’ve done over the years, plus upcoming artwork.
For this video I had to refresh my memory on how to use After Effects, which I haven’t used in years. The final result of the monogram in the video is a screen print I made using gold ink.
It’s always fun to see the process behind a creation!
