#throwback to media weigh ins in KL. Homeground, first time. I had just come off a big W in Dubai and slated to compete in KL.

Behind the media photos, what people didn't see was the risk I took to leave my corporate job before that match. 27yrs young, earning well at the point of my career, but I knew that I didn't just want to win fights/matches, I wanted to be a fighter. Competing at a level that required consistent dedication and focus. Truth be told, leaving my job and focusing full time to build my career in the sport was a big, scary step for me. It was uncharted waters, all I ever knew after graduating from college was working in sales & marketing and I was pretty good at it. After I tendered my resignation, I immediately focused on my camp, staying focused on what I needed to do to prepare, focused on the system my team and I built.
I won that match but the biggest Win for me was the ability to fight those doubts I've ever had on myself. #betonyourself
