Had a fun chat with Detroit native and inspiring entrepreneur Zeinab Makled on @tv20detroit on 3/23/22.
She started her business in 2019 because she couldn’t find candles without chemicals in them.
You can order special personalized candles - like this one with WXYZ on the top - from her website.
She handpours all of her 100% organic soy candles. All the wicks are cotton with a paper core and scented with high quality essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances.
The jars are made from blown, recycled glass, & they’re reusable once finished.
