Because every post is tagged with a Camera and Film stock each post is indexable with these filters. You can also search for #hashtags and of course other users.
The search feature is part of what makes Grainery not just a great social platform but learning tool as well.

Is this app still being developed? It’s been a year with no updates, I was paying to support the development for quite sometime but no updates at all.

Haven’t had any updates in months.. Payed for the beta for months to support but has the app been abandoned? I know the site is open but wondering if it’s still worth investing time and money into it! I hope so 😭

Just signed up today, looks really promising, but I just wanted to comment that there already seems to a be a lot of duplicate entries in the gear tags(?). I feel like this maybe shouldn’t be user-generated and instead already be part of an already existing database? Entering a lens and seeing 4-5 variations on the same item is just going to lead to fragmented search results. Although I recognise having an existing database would require a hell of a lot of work on your end, so I’m not quite sure what the answer is. Anyway that aside it looks very exciting!

Not sure you plan for it, but a field for developers used would be super lovely!!

Cool. Please add drop down button to change user/film/camera/lens search. Its not very user friendly with non-us keyboard :) Thank you

I can’t get the search function to work for anything other than usernames. Is there a way to search for and see only photos from a particular film stock or camera?
