The final result!

This project was easier than I anticipated it being (aside from chasing our kids out of the room nonstop / that definitely slowed us down). We had to pick up some new tools in addition to the supplies we needed, but we’ll be able to use those for future projects.

This wainscoting really dressed up our plain, boring walls in such a subtle and sophisticated way. Next up will be picking up a few decorative items to really tie the room together. I plan to keep it simple although I’d really like to swap out the light fixture.

Now that I know we have it in us to do some of these projects ourselves I can’t wait to throw my next idea at my husband. We’ll see if he has as much faith in us as I do.
