In my years of trying to find common ground, I've also gained uncommon friends from the religious to Brexiteers, right wing to Gender critical, among these I not only count Linda Bellos, stretching back a dozen years but also Julie Bindel more recently. We don't have to agree, but we do respect and recognise each other's motives and passion. (And in case they see this, the lovely neighbours in no2 aren't bad either!)

Katy I have just seen you on the Storm Huntley show, amazing. Just so reasoned and calm, we need more people like you on both sides of the debate, particularly in terms of mental health support and slowing of the process. Then I saw lots of pictures of cats in your posts - yes, that's my kind of person!

Accepting diversity includes diversity of thought. I think everyone needs to give each other more grace around this issue.

Brilliant guidance and I hope others listen. How is it that some of us have forgotten that it’s ok to disagree , to be different, to hold out own space and find middle grounds we all compromise on? This can only happen with empathy and understanding and bloody listening! All the name calling and abuse needs to stop. Totally behind this doc and well done for being true to you 😍
