This was fun last night! Just happened upon a delicious wine and small bites pairing at Sel in Old Town Scottsdale. The Sigalas Assyrtiko + poached butter prawn with pea purée might have been the star of the show, but don’t count out the 2018 Arbois Trousseau and mushroom risotto nor the Bandol rosé + pork belly. Who doesn’t love pork belly? So good and room for dessert…tiramisu. 💕 The wine and small bites pairing continues on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. @selrestaurant

Ooo - this makes me want to throw a dinner party! I love the sound of the Assyrtiko with the butter prawns and pea purée. And I’m always looking for any excuse to head to both Jura and Bandol...mushroom risotto and pork belly sound the perfect vessel!
