Dr. D. Bernard, EdD, MBA

Pay attention, Folks! What is happening in America is not about politically outdoing the other guy. The efforts by some are deliberate. The question is, will enough people notice to ensure we don't have a similar empty shelf library? When a society engages in censorship or book burning, it can lead to a broader suppression of ideas and eventually result in the persecution or harm of individuals.

As an educator, I wholeheartedly believe that it is important to promote, encourage, and support open dialogue, critical thinking, and the free exchange of ideas to maintain a healthy and democratic society.
