I’m so excited! I caught up with @angelayee and @staceytisdale while I was in Lisbon, Portugal. Here are three insights we found interesting from our catchup:

1. Black Americans don’t participate in the stock market as we should. Only 34% of black American households are in the stock market compared with 61% of white families, and because of that, we would see the wealth gap widens as we recover from the pandemic.

2. One of the reasons for the low participation is that many of us have no clue how to put our dollars into the market. It doesn’t need to be complicated. Just clear action steps!

Once your brokerage account is set up, you’re ready to take on opportunities you would have otherwise missed because of the lack of access.

3. You don’t need to pull your hair out to grow your wealth! There’s no need to keep looking for new stocks to invest in. I’ve been trading about the same 30 stocks for the last 13 years and you can do the same, too.
