how to get back to studying after a very long break ✨
when you take a very long break unexpectedly and haven’t studied since and once you actually get back it’s all distractions (speaking from first hand experience) here’s some things which help me get back to studying
📌 limits: set time limits on everything including rest time especially Instagram and YouTube. Obviously during your break, you scrolled and now it’s like second nature and so now you need to slowly get away from the apps and reduce your dependency on them. Trust me over time if you reduce the time spent it will get better
📌 studying right after waking up: might be difficult if you wake up around 1/2pm but if you wake up early you can just brush and have breakfast and start studying even if it’s for half an hour. Once your mind gets used to studying after waking up, you can get back to it after lunch or another break. But all you do is scroll once you wake up, that’s how all day goes.
📌 subjects: depends on you. If you are a optimist person who looks at all the chapters left and thinks yes I can do it and ill do my best, start with the tough chapters and go through them one by one. But if you’re like me who sees all the work left and puts themselves down then start with easy chapters and then a hard one and start again with easy. It helps with me, but you can do either one.
if you have more to add, let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading till the end 🩵
