18.11.2010 is the day that changed my life forever. I was a young lad that got involved in a bike versus car collision and was lucky enough to come away with my life . I sustained a serious injury to my right leg and eventually made the decision to amputate my leg a year later โฆ
Today I reflect on this day with serious gratitude as I get to remember valuable life experiences and memories Iโve been able to make along the way..
Making the decision to amputate my leg at the age of 15 wasnโt easy but hearing the stories of some incredible patients at the
@pekewaihanga center inspired me to embrace the life ahead and give myself permission to live a life worth living.. I owe it all to my support networks for treating me normal and including me in everything..
12 years on and feeling strong ๐๐ฝโจ
Itโs always good to look back and reassure little Pete he made a good decision .
