Yesterday was Paralympic & Olympic Day ❤️‍🔥 a day dedicated to celebrate sport inclusion and community!I’m still so proud of everything my team has accomplished together, more than just a bronze medal (though that was our goal and is the most special memento ever 🥹), it’s also the sacrifice I saw each of my teammates make to achieve our dream together. That is what I carry with me ♥️And it feels extra special to write this 10 days out from our team flying to China for World Championships, where we’ll get the chance to compete for a qualifying spot for the next Paralympic Games in LA 2028 🥺Let’s do this all again 🙌 together.Thank you to all our friends & family that stand by our side in representing Canada on the international stage. March was MAD cool 😍 how is this my life?! It was a month mashup of hosting the Paralympics, training with my volleyball team, and now filming a new TV show 🥹🎬5 flights, 4 cities, and countless memories with new pals.I thought this month would feel overwhelming and chaotic, but to be honest… I’ve never felt more ME.I’m beyond grateful for all these opportunities ♥️ and I can’t wait to share more in depth with you soon!!If March was this great, I have high hopes for April too 😊Ps. Prenatal depression came back this pregnancy. Only this time, it came back even heavier.

There were many days during my first trimester where my mind went to some really dark places. It scared me. And if you’ve ever experienced depression, you know how isolating it can feel. Add moving to a new state, being pregnant, and trying to show up for your kids, and some days felt impossible.

But something beautiful happened in the middle of all of it.

People showed up.

Friends, family, strangers… people who had no idea how much they were carrying me just by being there. They reminded me that even when I couldn’t see the light, I wasn’t walking through the darkness alone.

I’m trying to count my blessings, even on the days it’s hard.

I don’t believe depression is beautiful. It’s painful, confusing, and exhausting. But I do believe God can bring beauty from it. It has made me ask deeper questions. It has made me slow down. It has reminded me what really matters. It has taught me that strength sometimes looks like asking for help instead of pretending you’re okay.

I don’t have all the answers yet. But I do know this:

I’m here to love deeply. To raise my babies. To tell the truth about the hard parts. And if sharing my story helps even one person feel less alone, then every vulnerable conversation has been worth it.

If you’re quietly fighting a battle no one else can see, I’m so glad you’re still here. 🤍
