Hey, I’m Amy! Welcome to my lil world of savoring beautiful moments. I’ve been taking pictures for over 15 years and got a degree for it somewhere along the way. My emphasis was in alt processes but my capstone highlighted the idea of the camera making others feel a certain level of discomfort.
Since diving into that, I’ve paid a lot of attention to the role I play in that as the photographer. My goal is to make folks feel special, comfortable and beautiful in whatever capacity that looks like to them.
📸 styled by me and shot by my sweet late friend, Carl. He made me feel a lot more comfortable in front of the camera and I helped him with his settings behind it. It was a sweet trade off and I miss his friendship dearly. He was always encouraging me to get my work out there more, so in part this page is thanks to him.
