On an earlier trip to New Mexico we read about a magical place called the Valle Vidal. This weekend we were lucky enough to spend a couple days there. Fall aspens, vast meadows, elk bugling (!) us to sleep, it was a perfect and incredibly special way to ground ourselves in the beauty and richness of this place.
