NYC Frocktails 2024 ✅
Exactly one year ago, I broke my ankle in three places so just being able to attend Frocktails this year was a BLESSING 🙏🏾

I had such a great time attending this event with one of my craft besties @reginaw365 and fawning over all the beautiful handmade garments.
.
I made my dress at the very last minute because I was just too scatterbrained to pick something so I just went with something simple. Of course I had to complicate it by picking a pattern meant for knits, but used a woven fabric, cotton and faux leather at that!

Trying to attach the faux leather neckline almost defeated me but I'm glad I kept at it (5 times) and finished something in time for the event. I met so many dope makers and gained so much inspiration that my crafty reservoir has been filled to the max 😊 I can't wait until next year!
