This fish right here represents this phrase, well known in the fishing scene thanks to @mikeiaconelli , perfectly in my opinion.
The day started slow, like no bite slow and didn't get much better the longer we fished. By late afternoon we still hadn't met one decent fish when a storm rolled in. I didn't expect that kinda of weather that day so I left my rainsuit in the car. When thunder sounded to be really close and the lightnings hit closer we decided that it was time to get off the water for safety reasons. As we made it to the ramp it started pouring like I known it from the jungle so we left the boat at shore and sprinted into the car parked nearby. When the rain calmed down I thought it was time to head back since there wasn't much daylight left anyway but my friend insisted on making a couple of casts. Well we did that and soon I landed the first decent fish of the day and it felt like something changed, like the fish becoming active. So I kept casting and a few minutes later I get another bite which results in this beast - on topwater, in the drizzling rain and me still soaked from before.🔥
