Wonderful meeting Shakeeb Julien and Rita El Jamous at the Palestinian American Heritage Society’s Winter Market in Westlake. We discussed their involvement in Cleveland Public Theatre’s Masrah Cleveland Al-Arabi. Their most recent production, The Outstretched Hand (يد الوصال), delves into the lives of three young Arab Americans navigating personal and cultural challenges. I look forward to attending one of their performances in the near future.
