I’ve been putting this off because I honestly don’t know how to put into words how life-changing @thecolorpurplemusical has been. But here goes...

Never did I imagine this year being part of an ALL-Black cast and crew, let alone stepping into my dream role as Celie. THANK GOD as these past 3 months were filled with so much laughter, happy tears, JOY, culminating in 11 sold-out shows all with standing ovations — a testament to the immense talent of everyone involved!

A huge thank you to my phenomenal castmates who quickly became family. From the first rehearsal to closing night, I will never forget how you continually uplifted me and showed me so much love. The chemistry we had on stage is just a glimpse of the bond we built off stage too. Thank you for inspiring me.

The post-show blues are real, but I’m so thankful to God for this opportunity and for reminding me that we’re capable of so much more when we step into our purpose!
