As I reflect on this past year and share with you some of my favorite places I was so lucky to see, I find myself deeply grateful for the moments that have guided me. Nature and community have always been my grounding force, helping me find peace amidst life in this wild yet beautiful world we live in. Accepting change and appreciating even the smallest moments has helped me see how they all weave together into something meaningful.

I’ve realized that my love for humanity and life is endless. I can’t imagine going back to the place where I was once so fearful of opening my heart to the possibilities of true connection. It’s incredible to feel how much more I’m willing to embrace the beauty of life and the bonds of love that tie us all together.

I’m in awe of love. Even how the fear of its depth of the unknown has shaped me. It can be our compass and most powerful teacher. If we allow it, guiding us toward understanding and compassion. Love is limitless, and I hope we can all experience it, quest for it, and give it freely to one another. Even when the vulnerability of love scares us, we can grow with it. It’s in the discomfort that we expand, connect, and ultimately heal.

My hope is that love inspires us to treat each other more kindly, to hold space for empathy even when we don’t fully understand one another, and to accept people as they are. To shoot for the stars...for the one thing or person that challenges us the most. Let us not allow fear to get in the way of something as pure as love. How can we make it easier to believe that we, too, are worthy of love? Because you are.:)
